New Fraser River Bridge Project: Marine Construction Staging Plan
TyPlan was retained by Fraser Crossing General Partnership (FCGP) to prepare a Marine Construction and Staging Plan (MCSP) for the New Fraser River Bridge to satisfy terms and conditions stipulated by the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority (Port Authority) under Project and Environmental Review (PER) Permit (No. 17-107) and the Navigation Protection Program (NPP) of Transport Canada (TC) who administer the Canadian Navigable Waters Act (CNWA).
The following conditions were met by the MCSP
- Valid lease area mapping associated with the proposed project works in which all marine construction staging equipment will be sited (as negotiated between the MOTI and the Port Authority)
- Project schedule and phasing drawing (marine)
- Navigational protection zone drawings
- Marine Construction Staging Plan (MCSP)
- Establish a Marine Users Group
- Framework for ongoing Marine Communications and overview of relevant legislation and requirements governing construction over a navigable waterway
- Outline of vessel-related activities
